Games I'm Excited for in 2015

With a new year comes with a whole lot of new releases in 2015. I’m not going to list every game that is coming out in 2015 but just the games that I’m most excited for. Since I own a PS4 I’m only going to be talking about PS4 games that are going to be coming out this year. Or for some at least I’m hoping they are out this year.

So right off the bat I am by far most excited for Kingdom Hearts 3. Even though this game does not have a set release date for this year there is huge speculation that the game will be coming out this year because the game has been in development for roughly 4 years or so and with the game trailer coming out in 2013 a lot of people are excited for this. There was a tweet posted by one of the voice actors (although it was deleted) saying how his voice over parts are done in English is a good sign seeing as he is a lead character in the story (Goofy). Another game with a release date not set either is Final Fantasy 15. I have been waiting on this game for roughly 8 years or so. In the past few years there has been more and more game information coming out as well as a new game play trailer that was released in the latter half of 2014. It is predicted that this game will be coming out in late 2015. Well I hope it does.

A game that has me kind of skeptical but still interested in is Dragon Ball Xenoverse. The reason why I say I’m skeptical is because in my opinion the last few Dragon Ball Z games that have come out were not to great and not that appealing. From the looks of Dragon Ball Z Xenoverse the game is looking promising but I don’t have my hopes set to high.

Ratchet and Clank are going to be getting a remastered and remake of what seems to be most of their games on the ps2 and a couple on the PS3 coming to the PS4. This gets me excited because I never got the chance to play the remastered version on the PS3 and now that it will be coming on the PS4 I will be grabbing this game as soon as it comes out.

Sheridan Smash Twitch!

So a couple of my friends have decided to make a Twitch channel for the times we play Super Smash Bros Melee. You can follow the Twitch account here

It is being run by Alex Jacek Kaczmarek, David Bernacki, Vikram Bassi and I, if I’m am able to. We decided to start streaming our smash sessions just for the simple fact we thought it was going to be fun and a good way to get more people to reach out and come play Smash with us at the school. A way for us to get better by watching previous matches and learn from the mistakes that we make

 We will be streaming friendlies on Wednesdays at Oakville campus from 6PM and onward. It’s only a small group of us who are streaming at Oakville due to the fact that not a lot of smashers know that we are playing at this time since we are still trying to find a set room and date for us to be playing.

The stream will also be going on Fridays at Davis campus where there is a much larger turn out for smashers. Roughly 15 people or more go to the Davis Campus every Friday to play smash so the stream will be trying to be there every Friday if the schedules of Alex and David work out.

We streamed on the Friday that just past streaming the first tournament of the year on Super Smash Bros Melee with a 5$ buy in. The turnout was great. There was 22 entrants into the tournament and there was about 7 or 8 people who came just came to play and hang out and watch the tournament. You can watch the full tournament down below!
